Freckles and pigmentation spots on the face, hands and arms disappear with these two ingredients

Skin hyperpigmentation occurs when the body produces too much melanin – that gives color to the hair, skin and eyes, causing the appearance of brown spots on the face, hands, arms, shoulders, back.

Hyperpigmentation causes are both internal and external. The internal are innate and are especially common for people with dark complexion. External causes include exposure to synthetic hormones such as progesterone, estrogen, chemicals – minocycline, betaxolol and sunlight.

Ultraviolet rays cause spots and freckles which may be temporary or permanent. They are common on skin areas frequently exposed to the sun (face and hands).

Injuries also cause hyperpigmentation and spots remain even after the wound heals.

Melasma is a skin discoloration during pregnancy, but sometimes it affects pregnant women. Stains appear on the cheeks and nose, but they disappear after birth.

The treatment below is based on the Ayurveda principles.

Mix a teaspoon of lemon juice with a teaspoon of turmeric powder. The resulting paste is applied to the affected area and left there for 15 minutes, then is rinsed thoroughly. If you have sensitive skin, you can add a little milk or water.

Apply this remedy before showering, for example, and you can do it daily, until you notice an improvement. Very important! While you apply this treatment, don’t expose your skin to direct sunlight!

Turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and provides skin lightness, and lemon has rejuvenating effects.
