Gingivitis appears after the accumulation of the bacterial plaque on the surface of the teeth. Gingivitis is the inflammation of the gums, which become reddish and bleeding.
Gingivitis is a slight form of periodontitis. Therefore, it requires immediate medical care to prevent periodontitis, because no one wants to remain without teeth.
The most common cause of gingivitis is poor oral hygiene, but it can also be caused by smoking or diseases that weaken the immune system. The dentist can stop the problem before it spreads and affects the tissues and bones.
And curcuma saves the day, again! Well, not the day, but just your teeth!
Curcuma contains a special compound called curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It removes the bacterial plaque, preventing the development of bacteria and relieving gingivitis symptoms.
